Church Membership
Software Allows You To Effectively Organize Your
Members, and That's Just for Starters.
Our
Basic Version is anything but basic. It offers
very powerful membership management functionality.
Take a look at what's
included in our Basic Version, which is
foundational to our Members Premier and Total Church
Versions ...
-

offers the following features ...
-
Contact
information for the 21st century. For starters,
whether we want to accept it or not, we have people
living together or life partners who are choosing
not to get married so we provided solutions for
entering their records into the system and tracking
them.
-
4 Fast Ways to add a new record
-
8 one-button ways to
pull up a record ... Company, Last/First Name, Home
Phone, Cell Phone, Work Phone, Fax, Email and Recall
Date.

records by any field. Or just right
mouse click on field like the City field and choose
"Quick Filter" to only view records in the same City
as the record you initiated the Quick Filter from.
Quick Filter can be done from almost every field.

You can open up an unlimited
number of individual records at the same time

-

easily. Once assigned, you can jump to the
family record with a click.
-
Families Management -
Create a family record and tie the individual records to
it. This gives you two different places to go to to
manage your members because most everything you can do
at the Individual Window you can also do at the Family
Window. You can view all family members from one screen and
you even have
each individual family members productivity tools
accessible. Very efficient. Click thumbnail
image to right to see the Family Window.
The
normal family is a husband and wife and their
children. With divorce rate so high, there's
also the single parent. And finally, some
churches want to keep track of people living
together and their children, and life partners
and their children. All of that can be
done in the TAC CMS.
-
Date of Birth Management (Module)
- Keep
track of date of births, ages for age related events or
to track average age of your congregation, send out
monthly birthday cards or add this months birthdays to
the bulletin, and more.
-
MS Word Integrator which includes
Mass Mailing (Module) - Merge any field into a MS Word
document. Save the MS Word document as a template.
Print for the current record or all records in the
query! You can even print out labels and
envelopes ... this is a very powerful integration!
-
Quick Entry Individuals to add a lot
of members to the system quickly
-
Reports
- You have your standard reports you'd expect and you
have a very powerful report technique to query the exact
records you want and print sub-total reports. The
walk-through will show this too you ... it's a very
impressive report tool!
-
Full
Security - The TAC CMS offers a lot of security in
what a user can access. Having come from working with
insurance agency software which is highly regulated, we
believe your members should have a high level of
security with their information as well. Security
allows you to establish by user what that user can
access, view and edit. It even allows control over
what records can be deleted. In addition, it determines
what reports a user can view. With the privacy
laws in place today, churches aren't immune from
safe-guarding their members information and making sure
it doesn't fall into someone's hands that shouldn't have
access to it. Setting up your users security is
very easy. Just checkmark the areas you want your staff
(and/or volunteers) to have access too.
-
Optional
Data Conversions - When you purchase the TAC CMS,
you could potentially, and very likely will have some
sort of program that holds your members records
(individual) and your family records. That could be
another database program or a spreadsheet like Excel.
A data conversion will convert data from your existing
system (if we can access your data) to the TAC CMS.
Depending on where the information is coming from will
depend on the cost. Most (not all) that come from a
database program will run around $95 depending on their
table structures. Spreadsheets can be more because
there always seems to be cleanup work that needs to be
done. Once we're able to analyze your data files
we'll be able to give you an accurate quote to convert
your data.
We have
an Individual Record Window and a Family Record
Window, but it's the Individual record that's
foundational. It's how we designed the
individual record and built everything around it
that has helped churches create a more efficient and
productive automation solution.
In
addition, it's
important to have a powerful membership database.
That's because this is the foundation to any
membership management system. When we reviewed
other CMS's, specifically membership management
systems, at prices starting at $99 we were surprised
with their limitations and lack of basic database
features. In addition, they didn't have a
seamless upgrade path to a full CMS system like our
Members Premier Version.
You also need
to remember, this is a database program. Any
membership system or CMS you would purchase is a
database program which is why we expect to see those
powerful features specific to a database.
If
you're looking for a membership management system
that also handles contributions, donations, pledges,
attendance, people helping people, all for starters,
then you want to look at our
Members Premier
Version.
Some Of The Thought Behind Our
Database System, The TAC-CMS:
Many of the systems I've seen in the
church industry and other industries lacks flexibility.
Most are quite rigid in forcing you how to do something.
In some cases, this is very good.
It's our objective to design a flexible
system. That's proven in the fact that there are 5
different ways to add an individual record.
Now, an individual record was
initially designed for an individual person. I took the
approach of separating family members into their own record
for more detailed record management and because it allows
for more accurate reporting. Plus, when joining groups
and committees, or even when paying tithes, many times its
an individual not both the husband and wife.
The point is, to accurately and
effectively work with your members and build a membership
database of your members, the individual record is
foundational and mandatory. A family record becomes
optional, but a very nice feature which we also offer.
My point here is it really was my
intent to create a flexible system. A
walk-through
of the system will help explain the thought behind the
system and design of the system. Plus, with a walk-through I can show you
just how flexible the system is and show you how easy the system is to use.
