In
the TAC CMS, you can track attendance at any
church events such as who's attending Sunday
School or the Wednesday night service.
The
problem is, handling attendance one individual
record at a time is very time consuming. That's
why we created our Quick Entry windows ... to
handle this time consuming task as quickly as
possible! With our Quick Entry window we
really have taken a time consuming task and made
it a whole lot faster and easier.
Capturing this information is exceptionally easy
in the TAC CMS system. From a members record,
simply click the "Contribute" icon and then add
the contribution or tithe.
If
you're adding a bunch of contributions at the
same time, do it from our Quick Entry
Contribution window. You can add one right
after the other. You can assign the
contribution to an individual record or a family
record. And if you run across a contribution
from someone not currently in your system, you
can add them very quickly as well, on the fly,
without breaking your rhythm and flow. Or if
it's cash that's not assigned to anyone, just
leave the Received From field blank.
Can be broken out
to different funds. You can even globally print
all tithes reports at the same time to be mailed out at
the end of the year.

Track Pledges -
Another common practice at a church as a way to bring in
funds for a specific purpose is to get pledges toward a
financial goal! For example, let's say you need
something for the church like a bus or you need to
expand and have another building built. Let's say
the construction of the new building is $250,000. With
our Pledging Module to the TAC CMS you would ...
- Keep
track of who's pledging and how much,
- Track
how far away from the financial goal all of the pledges
combined are,
- Track
all pledges received and show what's outstanding to meet
your financial goal,
- You
setup a persons payment frequency and can even send out
reminders,
- If a
person misses a pledge payment you'll know and can send
a reminder.
Adding a pledge payment to a clients record is
easy. Add the payment and update the Next
Payment Due date so you're always on top of
payments being made timely. The list of
what our pledging feature offers is pretty
amazing which makes handling pledges in your
church very easy.
-
Visitor Management - The purpose of Church Visitor
Software is to track visitors and manage the process of
someone going from being a visitor to being a member.
Do this piece effectively and you'll watch your
membership grow quickly. Stay on top of visitations and
compel visitors to continue coming back. Know
who's a visitor and have the tools to create the best
process to turn visitors into members. Ignore your
visitors and they'll go to another church, or may even
conclude church isn't for them ... don't let this
happen!
-
Counseling
- The purpose of Church Counseling Software is to track
counseling you'd offer people. In this day and age of
financial problems, relationships going bad, pre-marital
counseling and all of the other kinds of counseling a
pastor would do, this program keeps track of it all.
Due to the sensitive nature of this, the system should
have security so only those who have a need to know what
counseling has been done will have access to this
information. Something to consider is, the more
you know about what's going on with flock as a whole the
better you can lead your flock. Keeping track of what
counseling you're doing helps you do this.
-
Prayer
Requests - Who needs special prayers? Where
the prayers answered? Know the prayers needed in
your church. Tracking the prayers answered helps
you show the love of our Heaven Father. It's also a
great tool for prayer groups and the church so you know
who's in need of prayer.
-
Handling inbound phone
calls - When a call comes into the church, rather
than taking a paper phone message, you can do it in the
TAC CMS. With full integration, it pulls the
recipient into the automated phone message and the
caller (if they're in your TAC CMS). It also
offers some very nice time saving features to creating a
phone message.
Then, when you're done taking the information,
hit the Send Message button and it's sent to the
recipients email address. With
Blackberry's and laptops with a Broadband Card,
getting the phone message immediately is
becoming the standard. Who wants to wait
until they get back to the church when they can
get them much sooner?!

Mass
Mailings -
The TAC CMS
allows you to print personalized letter for each person
one by one (Current record only) or you can select a
group of people (All records in current query) and send
each a personalized letter which is referred to as Mass
Mailing. Once you use this feature, you'll fall madly
in love with it!
By
integrating with MS Word, there's just not much
you can't do. That's because MS Word is such a
powerful word processor that does a lot! You
can even do newsletters. The options are
endless, especially when you realize you are
able to add data from the TAC CMS system to the
Word Doc.
You
can also print out envelopes ... one at a time
or for everyone in the selected group. Sort
them by zip code for bulk mailings. Here we
show you an example of how you can spruce up
your envelope. You can even print labels.
Personalize the emails so each person gets one
with their personal information within the email
... nice, very nice! Dear Bob, Dear Eddie,
etc. You may have just sent out 1,000 emails
but because it's personalized to the recipient
it will appear as if you sat down and wrote the
recipient a personalized email. Very effective
technique.
You
can throttle the emails so you're only sending
so many per minute or hour. This is important
because many ISP's limit the number of emails
you can send per minute or hour. If you're
doing a mailing to 1,000 people and you can only
send out 200 per hour you'd want to throttle the
system to send an email every 18 seconds (60 min
x 60 sec/min = 3600 sec per hour divided by 200
emails per hour = 1 every 18 seconds).
Do
you have a series of emails you send out on a
weekly basis? (During the demo, ask us about
the two most powerful marketing strategies
today.)
After sending an email it can update a field.
For example, let's say the field "Last Email
Sent" is 3. You setup for email #4 by choosing
those records that =3 in the "Last Email Sent"
field and tell the system to increase this
number by 1 after sending them email #4 (+1).
Here again, I hope you're seeing just how
powerful of feature this is.
-
Flex
Dates - Flex Dates is an amazing feature that allows
you to capture any additional information associated to
a date. It's a simple approach with an incredible
outcome. Then, because you control the Description
field, you're able to make sure everyone is filling the
description field with the correct information so you
can query on the records in the Global window.
Capture anything you want. Anything that has a date
associated to it, that is. Then, at the Global Flex
Dates window you can analyze everything, group alike
items together, send a letter to groups records and much
more!
-
Marriage
Management/Tracking - Two hearts becoming one, the
Power of 3, a life dedicated and committed to the Lord!
Marriage's is something a lot of churches want to
track. That's why we added this module.
You
capture the information on the Man (Groom) and
the Woman (Bride). If the Groom or the Bride
are in your system you can pull their
information into this record saving you from
re-entering their information. You can even
link it to an individual record or to a family
record. Then you can jump to the linked record,
the Groom's record if you pulled the info in
from the system (didn't in example above) or the
Bride's record if you pulled the info in from
the system (did in example above).
-
Community
Services & People Helping People (Donations) - This
feature allows your church to know who has special
skills and knowledge, who has items they're willing to
donate, who has items they're willing to loan out, and
much more.
This
includes tracking businesses like the food bank,
or the salvation army or men/women shelters in
your area or information on companies like the
utility company in your area that will help low
income people with their bill and so on.
It's about people helping people and having a
tool to manage it all. Isn't that ultimately
what Jesus asked us to do?
To love our neighbors as ourselves?
The
objective here is having a database of services
and items that people in your flock (or
community) could benefit from should they come
up on hard times or just have a need. What an
amazing service this would be to your flock (and
community).
Most are quite
impressed with everything that's included in the Members
Premier Version. Many of these modules could be stand
alone programs. In fact, if you query things like "church
contribution software" or "church donation software" or
"church pledges software" and so forth you'd find many
different stand alone programs for the specific search to
choose from with starting prices at $99.
The huge
advantage you gain here is you have all of these features in
one program all fully integrated together. That means
you only need to put the member in once and that you can
pull up a member and have all of these features right at
your fingertips. This alone saves you a tremendous amount of
time by eliminating doing double entry and by having
everything right at your fingertips.
You want all of
your members in one program and for that one program to
offer the features you need. That way you're only
putting members in once. Believe me, it's costly and
time consuming to bounce from program to program and be
forced to update more than one program when you have a
membership change or need to add a new member.
